Bird Box
by Josh Malerman
Something outside makes anyone who sees it turn violent. Josh Malerman's debut follows Malorie down twenty miles of river in a rowboat, blindfolded, with two children trained from birth to listen for what she cannot look at. Horror stripped back to sound, and one of the tensest survival novels of the last decade.
