Why the audiobook wins

Cashflow Quadrant is built around one diagram, and the audiobook has to carry it without showing you anything. Tim Wheeler solves that by staying deliberate: employee, self-employed, business owner, investor, named and re-named until the four columns sit in your head without a page in front of you.

The format suits Kiyosaki's method anyway. He teaches by repetition and by parable, the same handful of stories about the two fathers returning in new positions, and repetition is easier to take in audio than in print, where it looks like padding. Nine hours is also short enough to run twice, which is roughly how the book expects to be used.
